The team has been in Malindi for a day and a half and we have already begun to see God work. We had a ministry time this morning with 26 local pastors where we equipped them with training on how to evangelize in there own towns. After a time of teaching they were sent out the doors of the church in groups of 2 to evangelize to people around the church.
This afternoon we did some street outreach and some advertising for upcoming events. We were in groups of 2 and each group had a translator. We would hand out flyers for the concert, tell them about the Jesus movie in that we were hosting in town. We would talk with them about a relationship with Jesus, encourage them to start a relationship with Jesus, and pray for them. There were a handful of people that gave their life to Jesus today and we got some contact information to connect them with a church.
This evening we played music and danced with about 50 kids until it was dark enough for the Jesus movie to start. You can check out a video and some pictures in the GALLERY.

For the youth outreach tomorrow, it will be the first time we will be doing skits and sharing testimonies in front of a group.
