There has been a lot that has happened over the last 3 day. On Sunday, the team went in groups of 2, each to a seperate church. In each group, one person gave a sermon and the other would give their testimony. Tobais, Daniel, and myself gave sermons while Samual, Sina, and Laura gave their testimonies. Tobais preached from Romans 6:33 and God's authority. Daniel preached from Number 14:20-23 and forgetting God's promises for us. I preached from John 11:1-16 and waiting for the Lord.
After church, the team went on a beach outreach where we would evangelize to people, invite them to the concert, and pray for them. Most people that we talk to are very open to hear us out and are willing to become christians if they are not already. If someone accepts Jesus into their life we fill out a contact card with their information some local pastors can follow up and give them resources and invite them to church on Sundays. As a team we fillout around 15-20 of these cards everytime we do an outreach.
On Monday, we had 2 more street outrach events near the concert grounds. Some of our team went to start stage setup for the concert while the rest did ministry time. Typically, we would go out in groups of 2 with a translator however this time we each of us went with with a translator. In the afternoon, we were back in groups of 2 with a translator.
We ended our day with a birthday celebration for one of the team members that is part of the LJM team, Hansy.
Today the team was split up where some went did mobilization and others finished the concert setup. For mobilization, we had speakers straped to the roof of the car and we would drive it to village centers and promote the concert in 2 days. We would invite kids to dance along woth us and have fun.
Prayer request
With long days the team is tired, pray for strength and alretness.
With everything setup pray that everything can run smoothing diring testing and the concert.
